    Attorney James A. Downey is a Green Bay native who has lived in Door County since 2000.  He attended Marquette University and Marquette University Law School finishing his legal education in 1993.


    His areas of practice include real estate, estate planning, business organization and advising, non-profits, and family law.


    James currently lives in Sturgeon Bay with his wife Deanah, a Spanish teacher at Southern Door High School, and their two boys. James is also a US Army veteran who enjoys soccer, fishing, history and military numismatics.

  • About Jake

    Attorney Jacob M. Blazkovec is an Algoma native and second generation attorney having practiced law with his father, the late Jacob P. Blazkovec. He graduated of the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and the University of Toledo College of Law and has practiced in Wisconsin since 1995.


    His areas of practice include family law, criminal law, estate planning and probate, and real estate.


    Jake currently lives in Algoma with his wife, Peggy, and they are the parents of two adult children. Jake is also a registered pharmacist and an owner of Bay Hometown Pharmacy in Sturgeon Bay. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, swimming, and golf. He is also an avid fan of college and professional sports.
